How Cyprus Lifestyle collects, uses and protects your personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Cypriot law.

Who we are (data controller)
Cyprus Lifestyle is the media title of ADD Individual Solutions Ltd (Media department), a company based in Nicosia, in the Republic of Cyprus, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any data-protection matter you can reach us at privacy@cypruslifestyle.eu.
What personal data we collect
We collect only what we need. When you contact us, subscribe to the Saturday Letter, or ask our concierge to arrange something, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, your email address, and any phone number or message you choose to share. If you become a member, we hold the account and billing information needed to provide the service. When you browse, we collect limited, privacy-friendly analytics about how the site is used.
Why we use it, and our legal bases
We use your data to reply to you, to send the Saturday Letter you asked for, to route and fulfil concierge requests, to provide membership, and to keep the site secure and improve it. Our legal bases are your consent (for the newsletter and for concierge requests you submit), the performance of a contract (for membership), and our legitimate interests (for security, fraud prevention and understanding how the site is used). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We keep cookies to a minimum. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that do not track you across other websites. A small preference cookie remembers the language you choose, so the site opens in it next time. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The services that process data for us
We rely on a small number of reputable processors, each bound by a data-processing agreement: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics), Resend (transactional email), Stripe (payments), and OpenAI and Anthropic (which power the multilingual concierge). They process data only on our instructions and only as far as needed to provide their service.
International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — so that your data continues to enjoy GDPR-level protection.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected: concierge and contact enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and a reasonable period afterwards; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; and membership data for the life of the account and any period required by law. We then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Exercising these rights is free and will not disadvantage you.
How to exercise your rights
Write to privacy@cypruslifestyle.eu and tell us what you would like. We will respond within one month, as the GDPR requires. To protect you, we may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Complaints

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law evolve. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you directly.
