How do I get a licence to open a travel agency in Cyprus?

The competent authority is the Deputy Ministry of Tourism. Applicants must be physical persons resident in Cyprus or an EU member state, or legal entities established there; the manager must hold a university diploma or a recognised higher education institution diploma in tourism and must not have been prohibited by a judicial order from dealing with property or convicted of an offence involving dishonesty or moral turpitude. The premises must be at least 20 sq.m. with a private toilet and wash basin, and there must be a minimum of two persons including the manager. Fees are an establishment licence fee of 400,00 euros, a guarantee deposit of 15,000.00 euros, and a renewal fee of 300,00 euros. A decision is issued within 3 months from the date the application was duly submitted, the licence is valid for two years and expires on the 31st of December, and the Application for the Establishment of a Tourist and Travel Agency can be submitted through PSC Cyprus or by post or hand.
